  • Craftsman-style home with new warm gray lap siding, white trim and a covered porch

Questions

Answers to common questions

How do I request an estimate?

Use the short form on our Request an Estimate page. Tell us a little about the project and how you'd like to be reached, and we'll follow up to arrange a time to look at the property.

Do I need to be home for the estimate?

For roofing, siding, and gutters we can usually look from the outside, but it helps to walk through your concerns together. For windows and doors we'll need to see the inside too. We'll let you know what to expect when we schedule.

How long will my project take?

It depends on the size and the weather. Your written estimate will include a realistic timeline, and if anything changes along the way we'll tell you right away.

What happens if the weather turns during the job?

We watch the forecast closely and never leave your home open to the elements. If rain or wind moves in, we secure the work area and pick back up as soon as it's safe.

Do you work on commercial buildings?

Yes. We work with small businesses, landlords, churches, and property managers on roofing, siding, gutters, and doors. See our Commercial Exterior page for details.

Will you clean up when you're finished?

Yes. Cleanup is part of every job. We pick up debris and nails, haul away old materials, and walk the property with you before we call it done.

Have a different question? Ask it when you request an estimate, and we'll answer it in plain terms.
